The short version

Deskrawl Wiki is a static site. There is no sign-up, no account, no comment system, no newsletter and no purchase. You can read every page without telling us who you are. At the time of writing no advertising or analytics scripts run on this site, and the site sets no cookies of its own.

What the site itself stores

Nothing about you. Pages are generated as static files, so the only record of a visit is whatever the host has to keep in order to serve the file and protect the service from abuse — see below. The in-page search index is a static script that runs in your own browser; searching writes nothing to any server.

Hosting and network data

Pages are served through a content delivery network (Cloudflare Pages at the time of writing). Delivering a page necessarily involves technical connection data — such as your IP address and browser user agent — being processed by the host. That processing is governed by the host's own privacy policy, published by the provider. We do not have access to those logs and we do not use them to identify you.

Advertising and analytics, if they are ever enabled

Many free wikis cover their costs with advertising. If that is ever added here, third-party networks may set cookies or similar technologies in your browser and may collect data such as your IP address, browser and the pages you view, under their own policies rather than ours. We would identify the vendors, link their policies and update this page before anything loads on the site. We would never inject advertising into a page in a way that makes a link or a button unclickable, and we would never ask you for personal data in exchange for access.

Children

This site is a game reference and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Your questions

Because there is no account system, we do not hold a file on you that could be exported or deleted. If you have a privacy question, or you want a specific page or statement removed, email hello@deskrawls.wiki. If a material change is made to this policy, the date at the top of this page is updated.
